On Wednesday November 13th there was a motor vehicle accident south of Prince George, BC. The accident caused extensive physical and fire damage to the fibre network that Mascon uses to service the area. This impacted Mascon TV, internet and home phone services in the Vanderhoof and Fraser Lake areas.
Once the local utility companies were able to replace the damaged poles and power cables, Mascon technical staff were able to restore services at 2am PST.
