Our knowledge base has answers to most common questions, and our technical support team is just a phone call away. Some of our most common questions are below. Can't connect to the Internet:
  1. Check your connections and ensure that everything is plugged in and turned on.
  2. Reboot your network starting with your modem, then your router and lastly computer(s)
  3. If you still can't get online, contact technical support.
Television channels snowy:
  1. Your VCR/DVD may be on. Try shutting the power off to the VCR/DVD and try again.
  2. If you have a Digital Box be sure to select the correct video souce to view your digital box, usually this is video source 1. To change the source settings press your TV button on your digital remote control and then press the source button repeatedly until you get a picture showing, normally this will be on source #1.
How to order a Pay Per View movie or event:

  2. Order By Website - Register an account online so you can log in anytime to make ppv purchases.
How to check long distance calling history: You can view your calling history and make settings changes from the NetCall Management Portal.

High-speed wireless internet doesn't use a phone line, so you can surf the web and send/receive e-mail without missing that important phone call! It is also much faster to download information from the internet, so you can upgrade software or download graphics or files that would take ages using dial-up internet access.
Almost magic ...but not quite. A small antenna is placed on your house and connected to a card inside your computer. This antenna is used to send and receive data between your computer and our mountaintop transmit towers located throughout the Shuswap. From this transmit site, the data is sent via microwave to our offices in Salmon Arm, from there it is sent via optical fibre to the internet. Note: AirSPEED Wireless Internet is a line of site service, which means your home must be able to see one of towers with no obstructions. A site check must be done prior to an application being taken, to ensure there are no obstructions.
A small antenna is installed on your house or business. This antenna must be positioned so it can ""see"" one of our transmit towers. An ethernet converter is installed, which enables your computer to communicate with the antenna. We supply all the software needed to install the high-speed internet system. Homes or offices with more than one computer, are installed in a similar fashion, although a router will be needed. An ethernet cable is then run to your existing LAN. Residential customers on Home package can expect download speeds of up to 6 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload. Package details are available here.
Our wireless technician will first do a site check at your home to ensure you have an un-obstructed view of our tower. If they determine all is good, they may finish the installation then and there, or re-schedule your installation depending on his schedule for that day. On the day of your installation the installer will mount the antenna run cable to your computer and install the wireless receiver equipment. The installer will also configure your email address, check for viruses and spyware. Normally complete installation can be finished within two hours. After completion you will be able to surf.
Snow and rain can affect your signal...but our technicians factor that in when they install your antenna, and allow for a fade margin. So...you should never notice a degradation of signal.

If you are having an internet problem, please follow these steps:
  1. Check your connections and ensure that everything is plugged in and turned on.
  2. Reboot your network:
    1. Unplug the power to your AirSPEED Wireless receiver, wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in.
    2. Next, unplug the power to your router (if you have one) , wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in.
    3. Lastly, reboot your computer.
  3. If you still can't get online, contact technical support. After hours, please leave a message on the voicemail and we will return your call first thing the next business day.
  4. If you can get online, the knowledge base on our website can help you solve many problems yourself.
