Almost magic …but not quite.
A small antenna is placed on your house and connected to a card inside your computer. This antenna is used to send and receive data between your computer and our mountaintop transmit towers located throughout the Okanagan. From this transmit site, the data is sent via microwave to our offices in Salmon Arm or Winfield, from there it is sent via optical fibre to the internet.
Note: Airspeed Wireless Internet is a line of site service, which means your home must be able to see one of towers with no obstructions. A site check must be done prior to an application being taken, to ensure there are no obstructions.
